Grand Rapids Michigan Quilt Week Show 2019

I visited the Grand Rapids Michigan Quilt Week Show 2019.
Basically, our family had a road trip to New Orlean this year and on our way back home we stopped by at this Quilt Show to visit it and pick up my quilt afterward.
I have never been to a big quilt show before, so I was interested in seeing what it looked like and what kinds of quilts made it into the show.
Well, I like all crafts and handy made stuff and love to see what other people may come up with!
The quilts were made in a very wide variety of styles and techniques. These are photos of some quilts that I liked the most.
No offense to those that are not here - it is just personal taste and preference and you may notice that not all of them are winners! And these wonderful quilts are not in any particular order.

"Sparkling in a Flurry of Blue" by Julie Wells and Amy Schiwa

"The Spinning Reminiscence" by Wei Ling Lian

"Tropical Leaves" by Nancy Lambert

This one is basically a legend! So I was very curious to see it in real life and it was awesome!

Pardon my appearance - it is a second week on the road ...

All and all it was a great show and I really liked it!
P.S. my only complaint is that not all quilts had a tag with a description containing information such as how the authors came to this idea, what techniques were used, how they came up with this technique, threads, materials, etc.
